Autodesk released Maya 2027.1 on May 21, 2026, two months after Maya 2027 shipped in March.
The Sequencer gains OpenTimelineIO support, which makes moving edits between Maya and editorial tools easier, plus Playblast, zoom and audio handling improvements.
LookdevX 2.1 adds texture projection with eight modes, including planar, spherical, cylindrical, cubic and triplanar, for objects without UVs. Bifrost 3.1 adds node search, new rigid body compounds and support for Cached Playback in rigs, and USD for Maya 0.36 improves variant handling.
Maya 2027 supports Windows 11, RHEL and Rocky Linux 8.10 and 9.7, and macOS 14.0 or later.
